UAE's 5.4% Magento rate is the highest of any country — driven by Dubai and Abu Dhabi's luxury ecommerce sector. Magento (now Adobe Commerce) is the enterprise ecommerce platform: expensive, feature-rich, designed for complex catalogs and multi-currency transactions. Gulf ecommerce invested in Magento when it was the enterprise default, and migration is expensive.

The Enterprise Ecommerce Mix

UAE's framework landscape reads like an enterprise ecommerce playbook: Magento for the established retailers, Shopify for the new entrants, Next.js for the custom-built platforms, Angular for the enterprise portals. At 63% WordPress, the non-ecommerce web follows the global default — but the 37% that isn't WordPress is the most commercially sophisticated mix we've measured anywhere.
