What We Collect

Cookies and Local Storage

WebPulse uses a consent manager. No non-essential cookies are set until you consent.

Third-Party Services

• Google Analytics 4 — Traffic measurement. Data processed in the US under Google’s privacy policy. IP anonymization enabled.
• Google Gemini API — Powers the chat assistant. Conversations sent to Google’s API for response generation. Subject to Google’s API terms.
• Cloudflare — CDN and DNS. Processes access logs per their privacy policy.
• Fly.io — Application hosting. Servers in the US (San Jose).

We do not use advertising networks, retargeting pixels, data brokers, or social media tracking scripts.

Your Rights Under GDPR (EU/EEA)

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:

• Access — Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
• Rectification — Correct inaccurate personal data.
• Erasure — Request deletion of your personal data (“right to be forgotten”).

International Data Transfers

WebPulse is hosted in the United States (Fly.io, San Jose). Analytics data is processed by Google in the US. If you are accessing from the EU/EEA, your data is transferred to the US under Google’s standard contractual clauses. We do not independently transfer personal data to jurisdictions without adequate data protection unless required for service operation.

Children

WebPulse is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, contact us for immediate deletion.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures including HTTPS encryption, access controls, and minimal data collection. However, no internet transmission is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. Material changes will be indicated by updating the “Last updated” date. For significant changes, we will display a notice on the site.
