The Web Development Workforce Impact

Web development sits at the center of this restructuring. The developer workforce that builds and maintains websites is being reshaped by the same AI tools those websites serve. There is no plugin ecosystem to patch, no PHP runtime to update, no database to secure. The 'maintenance developer' role does not exist because there is nothing to maintain. The Growing Skepticism
