Why Korea Is Different

Korean chaebols (Samsung, LG, Hyundai, SK) drove enterprise JavaScript adoption. When Samsung's web teams chose Angular, that set the pattern for the Korean enterprise web. Unlike Japan or China, Korea's corporate culture created demand for enterprise frameworks that freelance WordPress developers couldn't fill. At 5,901 detected sites, the pattern is confirmed at scale.

The Vue Connection

Vue.js adoption in Korea aligns with a broader East Asian Vue ecosystem. China uses Vue/Nuxt more than any other region. Korea is second. The framework choice followed cultural and community connections more than technical benchmarks.
