China's .cn domains show Vue.js and Nuxt.js in the top 3 detected frameworks — a pattern unique globally. No other country shows this level of Vue ecosystem adoption. The reason: Evan You, Vue's creator, is Chinese-American. The framework's documentation was Chinese-first from the start. Alibaba, Baidu, and Xiaomi adopted it early.
Cultural Technology Adoption
This finding challenges the assumption that framework adoption is purely technical. Vue won in China not because it benchmarks faster or has fewer CVEs — it won because it was accessible in Chinese, championed by Chinese tech leaders, and integrated into Chinese development workflows. Technology adoption follows cultural channels as much as technical ones.
