Vercel said on October 9 that all Pro teams will pay $0.10 per GB-month for Deployment Storage and Functions Storage. It is also setting the retention window to 30 days. From October 23, deployments older than that will be deleted unless a team opts out in its retention settings first. Settings already at 30 days or shorter stay as they are.
Vercel gives no single billing date; each team will learn its own by email. It gives no typical storage size or sample bill, and names only Pro teams, so other plans are not covered. Teams can set separate keep-times for pre-production, production, canceled and errored deployments. Vercel says deleted deployments cannot be used for rollback, a return to an earlier version.
Kept deployments take up space, so the bill follows how large each one is and how long it is kept. Vercel lists build files, large assets and Function bundles as things to trim. Budget owners can ask who sets retention for each environment and how far back a rollback is truly needed. Before October 23, check the Usage page for per-project storage and your email for your billing date.
