fal.ai said it has launched FLUX 3 Max, a video model built with Black Forest Labs on that lab's FLUX 3. fal says a 10-second clip takes 12.45 seconds to make. Seedance 2.5 takes 277.80 seconds, which fal says makes FLUX 3 Max about 22 times faster. Both score 1,139 in Artificial Analysis's preliminary image-to-video test, based on human votes. fal lists the price at $0.17 per second of video at 720p, cut 75% until November 7.
VentureBeat reported on October 19 that the live Artificial Analysis board shows 1,138 for FLUX 3 Max. That matches Seedance 2.5 and sits two points behind MiniMax H3. VentureBeat said the model's possible rank runs from first to fifth, so a clear quality lead is not shown. The timings come from fal, and VentureBeat noted that settings affect how long a clip takes. The test covers video made from a starting image, not text-only prompts.
Teams weighing video generation for an app have only fal's own timing so far. They would need to test speed on their own workload. The discounted price also ends November 7.
